WHY RUNNERS CHOOSE LAHINCH
lace Up In Lahinch
The Most Photographed Start Line In Irish Running
You don't warm up in a car park here. You warm up looking at Lahinch Beach. The course runs the coast road out toward Liscannor, so the view that got you out of bed for training runs is the same view carrying you to the start.
Coast Road Out, Clare Countryside Home
Out along the Atlantic on the Liscannor Road, back through the rolling roads of the Clare countryside. It's not a flat loop and we won't sell it as one — undulating terrain, real hills, an honest half marathon. That's exactly why the medal means more than the last one on your shelf.
A Weekend In Clare, Not Just A Race Number
Lahinch village, the Cliffs of Moher fifteen minutes down the road, a pint at the finish line within sight of the surf. Bring the family. Make a weekend of it.
